Marcos can usually be found with a coffee in hand and a smile on his face. When he is not in the office, Marcos enjoys playing sports and remaining active. He is a faithful Sacramento Kings fan and loves spending time at Golden 1 Center. Marcos and his wife, Sammie, love to travel and explore new places and try new restaurants.

Marcos is a Sacramento native. As much as he loves the concept of “Farm to fork”, he feels Sacramento will always be known as the “City of Trees”.
Growing up Marcos played a variety of sports; as an adult, he still has the same competitive drive.
He worked many years in IT managing hundreds of devices, but also taught creative media courses to students.
Each year, Marcos and a group of friends travel to a different city to root for the Sacramento Kings at an away game.
Iced coffee is almost always his favorite drink, regardless of how cold it is outside!
Marcos holds a blackbelt in TaeKwonDo; although it’s been years since he has trained, it does exist.
Marcos was active in the Sacramento Youth Soccer League serving as a referee for more than 15 years.
Marcos could likely eat a good burger and fries every day and never get tired of it.
Marcos loves everything about basketball – playing it, watching it, and coaching it. For many years he coached Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball and loved sharing his love of the sport with his players.
One of his bucket list items is to watch a basketball game at every NBA arena!
